Fishing Report

October 26,2011

Sheridan Lake - Colder temperatures has made it difficult to with stand a long time on the water.  For these fish try micro leeches, pumpkin head leeches, and shrimp.  Fish seem to be about 15 to 25 feet in the last couple days.  For tackle try a gold Hildebrant, Lyman plugs, and Rapala's (blueback x-rap seems popular)

Horse Lake - A few kokanee have been caught using a #3 brass hildebrandt or a pink Apex.  For Rainbow try needle fish Apex or using flies try an olive leech or a Doc Spratley.  For the Lake Trout try using a large lyman or rapala lures.

Crystal Lake - One of the better lakes for reliability this year. For Flies try Leeches or shrimp. For tackle try Lyman plugs, flatfish, and gang trolls with wedding bands or needlefish.

Watch Lake - This lake has been really productive as of late with Gang trolls and wedding bands, Flatfish, and hotshots. For the Fly fisherman try your luck with leaches, halfbacks, Doc Spratleys, and Buick 52's. Also try your luck with Shrimp off one of the weed beds or sunken islands.

If you have a report for one of the local lakes or even something out of area please feel free to send it to our email.
